This week sees the return of Wednesday for Season 2. Netflix kicks off the new season with 3 new episodes in a staggered season. (Click HERE to see when new episodes of Wednesday air.)

Starz also launches Outlander spinoff series Blood of My Blood on Friday, with 2 back to back episodes.

The Countdown team are feeling the pressure on Wednesday meanwhile, with Blythe out of commission and Meachum’s condition worsening by the minute.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds goes back to its roots with a storyline exploring a new world and a new civilization in “Through the Lens of Time” later this week.

We also say goodbye to The Librarians: The Next Chapter, The Buccaneers, The Gilded Age, and Resident Alien which all air their finales this week. (In the case of Resident Alien, it’s a a series finale, with HBO’s And Just Like That… to follow next week.)

MONDAY

The Librarians: The Next Chapter (TNT): Season Finale! “And the Unfinished Business”. General Gregor retrieves the Sword of Mars and uses it to take over the country of Caucasylvia (remember from the Train episode), gaining control of their nuclear arsenal. The team must steal the Sword to prevent world calamity.

WEDNESDAY

Acapulco (Apple TV+): “Higher Love”. During a research trip, Maximo musters up the courage to ask Julia a big question. Esteban and Nora’s investigation takes a surprising turn.

The Buccaneers (Apple TV+): Season Finale! In “She Knows” the end-of-season Tintagel Ball sets off an explosive chain of revelations and betrayals—and Nan’s life will never be the same.

Countdown (Prime Video): “10-33”. With their leader fighting for his life and Meachum’s medical condition worsening by the minute, the team finally comes face to face with the true nature of their enemy’s plans as time is running out to stop him.

The Summer I Turned Pretty (Prime Video): Episode 5.

Wednesday (Netflix): 3 Episodes to kick off Season 2 — “The Devil You Woe,” “Call of the Woe,” and “If These Woes Could Talk.”

THURSDAY

And Just Like That… (HBO): Episode 11. The penultimate episode of the series. The finale airs on August 14.

Bob’s Burgers (Fox): “Mr Safebody”. Louise’s schoolmate Arnold enlists her to direct a promotional video for his new bodyguarding business; a stolen car blasting 90’s alternative rock is abandoned outside of the restaurant.

Revival (Syfy): In “Mother of Babylon” Dana and Wayne race to thwart Blaine Abel’s plans, as a captive Em desperately faces off with her inner demons and General Cale’s own intentions for the Revivers of Wausau.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (Paramount+): “Through the Lens of Time” sees Chapel and Korby’s quest leading the Enterprise to ancient ruins that are hiding a dark secret.

FRIDAY

Outlander: Blood of My Blood (Starz): 2 Episodes kick off this new series based on the Outlander series. In the series premiere “Providence” after the death of Red Jacob, a new Laird of Clan Mackenzie must be chosen, and both of his sons — Colum and Dougal — vie for the title. At the Gathering, Brian Fraser and Ellen MacKenzie meet and are struck by their strong connection.

Then in episode 2 “S.W.A.K. (Sealed with a Kiss)” while Henry fights in World War I and Julia works at the censorship office in London, their love story unfolds through the letters they write to each other.

Foundation (Apple TV+) In “Where Tyrants Spend Eternity” Day enters uncharted territory. Dawn and Gaal put their plan in motion. Magnifico’s worth becomes clear. Demerzel attempts to restore power.

Smoke (Apple TV+): In Episode 8 “Mercy” Gudsen flips the script. Harvey grapples with regret, and Calderone is forced to confront her past.

Resident Alien (Syfy): “The End is Here” Series Finale!

SUNDAY

Dexter: Resurrection (Paramount+ with Showtime): In Episode 6, “Cat and Mouse” as Dexter closes in on a narcissistic murderer, Harrison faces a crisis of identity while trying to find his place in the world. Meanwhile, Batista pursues the connection between the Bay Harbor Butcher and the recent killings in NYC

The Gilded Age (HBO): Episode 8. Season Finale. In “My Mind is Made Up” as Ada and Aurora rush to stop Marian from making a huge decision, Bertha and Mrs. Astor’s clash impacts all of New York society

The Institute (MGM+): Episode 6 “Run”. As Tim’s investigation pays off in ways he never imagined and Sigsby scrambles to avert disaster, Luke must finally decide who he can trust.
