This week sees the fifth season return of Only Murders in the Building on Hulu. This time around Mabel, Charles, and Oliver look into the death of their beloved doorman Lester, where their investigations plunge them into the shadowy corners of New York and beyond.
Mid-week drama comes in the form of The Girlfriend on Prime Video, a taut 6 episode thriller about control, wealth, and obsession, starring Robin Wright, Olivia Cooke, and Laurie Davidson. Catch our review here.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ third season comes to and end on Thursday (Don’t worry the show has already been renewed for Season 4), as does Foundation on Friday. Foundation’s finale “The Darkness” sees Gaal and the Second Foundation take the fight to the Mule as Empire’s legacy suffers a catastrophic blow.
Meanwhile Sunday’s offerings continue with new episodes of HBO’s Task, and AMC’s The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.

TUESDAY

Alien: Earth (FX/Hulu): Season 1, episode 6 “The Fly” — Tensions rise as powerful enemies confront each other, a dangerous plan unfolds, and curiosity leads to deadly consequences.
Only Murders in the Building (Hulu): Season 5 kicks off with the first 3 episodes:
5×01 “Nail in the Coffin” — While investigating Lester’s mysterious “accidental” death, the clues lure Charles, Oliver, and Mabel out of Manhattan — and straight into some dangerous new “old” territory.
5×02 “After You” — A look back at Lester’s early days at the Arconia reveals how a young dreamer became a steadfast doorman — sacrificing his future to protect the residents from the building’s secrets.
5×03 “Rigor” — The trio stumbles upon a crucial piece of evidence… and promptly compromises it. With time running out, they scramble to solve the mystery before the police close in on them.
WEDNESDAY

Acapulco (Apple TV+): Season 4, episode 9 “The Winner Takes it All”. Complications during the Miss Universe Pageant force Maximo to take desperate measures to protect Las Colinas’ reputation.
The Girlfriend (Prime Video): A six part limited series stars Robin Wright and Olivia Cooke. Based on Michelle Frances’ novel of the same name, The Girlfriend follows Laura (Wright), a woman who seemingly has it all: a glittering career, a loving husband, and her precious son, Daniel. Her perfect life begins to unravel when Daniel brings home Cherry (Cooke), a girlfriend who changes everything. After a tense introduction, Laura becomes convinced Cherry is hiding something. Is she a manipulative social climber, or is Laura just paranoid? The truth is a matter of perspective. Read our REVIEW here.

NCIS: Tony & Ziva (Paramount+): Season 1 episode 4 “Wedding Crashers”. Framed and on the run, Tony and Ziva hijack a hacker’s wedding as an undercover sting to flush out their elusive enemy, Martine, while navigating escalating tensions with Interpol and their fractured trust.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (Paramount +): Season Finale! Season 3, episode 10 “New Life and New Civilizations”. When an ancient alien force re-emerges, Pike must make one of the hardest decisions of his life to stop the evil from spreading.
Peacemaker (HBO): Season 2, episode 4. “Need I Say Door”. Red St. Wild leads the hunt for Eagly; the Quantum Unfolding Chamber’s origin is revealed.
FRIDAY

Chief of War (Apple TV+): Season 1, episode 8 “The Secret Niu Grove” After his worst fears come true, Kaʻiana suffers a devastating loss. Keōua’s call to war becomes unavoidable for Kamehameha.
Invasion (Apple TV+): Season 3, episode 4 “The Mission.” Jamila and Clark try to find Aneesha, who’s begun digging into Infinitas. Trevante, Mitsuki, and Nikhil are hurled into a top-secret WDC mission.
Outlander: Blood of My Blood (Starz): Season 1, episode 7 “Luceo Non Uro”. Lord Lovat goes to extreme lengths to fulfill a prophecy; Dougal attends a clandestine meeting that could spell political disaster for the MacKenzies.
The Rainmaker (Peacock): Season 1, episode 5. Worried about Melvin’s threat, Rudy defies Bruiser and risks his job and future as Dot’s attorney.
