MONDAY, APRIL 20 TO SUNDAY, APRIL 26
While the Broadcast Networks may already be looking towards the end of the fast-approaching 2025/26 Primetime schedule, there are still plenty of green TV shoots to be grazed upon, particularly if NBC and CBS franchises are your thing.
The One Chicago and Law & Order franchises are ticking along nicely on NBC, while CBS continues to air new episodes of FBI, CIA, Sheriff Country, Fire Country, NCIS, NCIS: Origins, and more.
Things are quieter on ABC this week, with staples like 911 and 911: Nashville preempted by the NFL Draft, and Grey’s Anatomy currently on a multi-week break to stretch its remaining Season 22 episodes into the May sweeps period. The show’s heavy hitter High Potential aired its season 2 finale on April 7, and the buzzy Scrubs revival ended on a hopeful season renewal-shaped note on April 15.
This week also welcomes animated supernatural drama in the form of Stranger Things: Tales from ’85 on Netflix. Season 2 of the Kate Hudson-starring Running Point also lands on Netflix this week.
Over on Prime Video, The Boys continues with episode 4, and Invincible with episode 8, while Apple TV welcomes the welcoming the return of British crime drama Criminal Record for Season 2.
