It’s all heavy hitters and big names on the TV Slate this week.
Squid Game, aka streaming’s most popular show, returns this week for its final run. Prime Video’s Countdown from One Chicago franchise scribe Derek Haas also hits our screens running. (Catch our full review later today).
Meanwhile, Apple TV+ debuts the Taron Egerton and Jurnee Smollett-starring Smoke, The Bear returns for Season 4, and Disney+ debuts Ironheart, the conclusion of Phase Five of the MCU.
All that along with your regular staples of Duster and And Just Like That… on HBO, Revival and Resident Alien on Syfy, Pokerface on Paramount+ and many more.

MONDAY
The Librarians: The Next Chapter (TNT): When the magic door reroutes Charlie, Lysa and Connor to a bizarre manor where a series of Agatha Christie-style murders take place, they must figure out whodunnit, while Vikram tries to track them down with the help of a mysterious tarot card reader.
TUESDAY
IronHeart (Disney+): Ironheart, the last TV series and conclusion of Phase Five of the MCU, debuts with its first three episodes today (“Take Me Home”, “Will the Real Natalie Please Stand Up”, and “We in Danger, Girl”, followed by its other three episodes on July 1.
The series is set after the events of Wakanda Forever, and see MIT student Riri Williams return home to Chicago, where she discovers secrets that pit technology against magic.
Episode 1: “Take Me Home” (June 24, 2025)
Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne), a brilliant MIT student and inventor, returns to her hometown of Chicago after the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Struggling financially but brimming with ingenuity, Riri works on her advanced armor inspired by Tony Stark’s Iron Man suit. She attracts the attention of a mysterious new crew, including the enigmatic Parker Robbins (Anthony Ramos), setting the stage for a conflict that pits her technological prowess against supernatural forces.
Episode 2: “Will the Real Natalie Please Stand Up?” (June 24, 2025)
Riri delves deeper into her new connections in Chicago, grappling with trust issues as she uncovers more about Parker Robbins and his crew.
Episode 3: “We in Danger, Girl” (June 24, 2025)
The stakes escalate as Riri confronts a direct threat tied to the mysterious forces opposing her. Her armor is put to the test in a high-stakes encounter, showcasing her resourcefulness and courage.
WEDNESDAY
The Buccaneers (Apple TV+): Amid the Tintagel spring gala, Lizzy grapples with whether to share crucial information with Nan
Countdown (Prime Video): When an officer with the Department of Homeland Security is murdered in broad daylight, LAPD detective Mark Meachum is recruited to a secret task force, alongside undercover agents from all branches of law enforcement, to investigate.
The first 3 episodes “Teeth in the Bone”, “Dead Lots of Times”, and “Happy Birthday Final” air today, with one new episode per week thereafter.
“Teeth in the Bone” sees Meachum and Oliveras butting heads as the hunt for DHS officer Darden’s killer leads Blythe’s newly assembled task force all over LA… and ends with a startling revelation.
In “Dead Lots of Times” Blythe’s team heads to Mexico to pull off a daring mission for a deadly cartel in exchange for information on the shipment at the port.
And in “Happy Birthday Final” the team stages a high stakes prison break in an attempt to gain knowledge on the identity and whereabouts of the mysterious Volchek.
Stick (Apple TV+): Ahead of the U.S. Amateur Championship, Pryce gives everyone a rest day on the campgrounds. Mitts takes a risk. Santi makes a painful discovery.
The Bear (Hulu on Disney+, FX): All 10 episodes of Season 4 drop on Wednesday. Season 4 picks up after a dramatic third season in which Carmy anxiously awaited the Chicago Tribune review of his freshly turned around restaurant. And although it wasn’t 100% clear which way the wind was blowing in those final seconds, we’re leaning into … not great. Meanwhile, Sydney is on the fence about her future.
With consistency being the weak link in both the restaurant’s food and the team’s cohesiveness, it looks like Carmy will have to fix himself if he hopes to fix the food — and his fortunes.
THURSDAY
Criminal Minds (Paramount+): In “Tara” the team works to hunt down the person who shot Tara, discovering “The Disciple” deliberately had them chasing their tails. While undergoing critical surgery, Tara gets to the root of her relationship issues.
Poker Face (Peacock): In “The Big Pump” Charlie is convinced by her new gym buddy that there’s more to the tragic death of a local lifter than poor technique.

And Just Like That (HBO): Old pals Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte transition from the friendship they had in their 30s to a more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s. In episode 5 Carrie’s downstairs neighbor has had it with the noise from above. But will Carrie consider not walking around her apartment in heels?
Duster (HBO): as investigations into Saxton’s crime business and Joey’s death continue, Jim and Nina could be facing new enemies.
Revival (Syfy): As Wayne faces off with the governor and a town divided, a new friendship blossoms for Em while Dana’s investigation places her in the crosshairs of dangerous local family.

Welcome to Wrexham (FX): Wrexham and Wycombe stage a dramatic battle for the final automatic promotion spot as the entire town wonders if Wrexham’s bad luck is about to return.
FRIDAY
Smoke (Apple TV+): Premiering with the first two episodes, “Pilot” and “Your Happy Makes Me Sad” Smoke is inspired by true events, and follows a troubled detective and an enigmatic arson investigator as they pursue the trails of two serial arsonists. The sereis stars Taron Egerton as arson investigator Dave Gudsen and Jurnee Smollett as police detective Michelle Calderone.
Resident Alien (syfy): Harry and Heather reunite, but their relationship is more complicated than ever.

Sqiud Game (Netflix): the final season, consisting of 6 new episodes drops Friday. With the games only becoming harder in the aftermath of the contestant’s failed rebellion, player 456 is challenged like never before.
Team X or Team O? Right or left? Red light or green light? And what about that monstrous game of jump rope? With a slew of life-or-death choices to make, and not much time to decide, Squid Game’s brutal competition, and the series itself, s racing to a bloody finish line.
