The Witcher has been renewed for season 3 ahead of its second season premiere on Dec. 17, 2021.

The news came over the weekend at Netflix’s “TUDUM” global fan event, along with a couple of sneak peeks at the season ahead. See below for both. The event, so called because “TUDUM is the first beat you hear when you watch a show or movie on Netflix” according to the streamer, previewed a collection of new trailers, clips and announcements from over 100 series and films.

In season 2, convinced Yennefer’s life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, his childhood home of Kaer Morhen.

While the Continent’s kings, elves, humans and demons strive for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses inside.
