Netflix’s July 2025 lineup offers a range of new series across genres.
The Sandman wraps up Dream’s epic journey with a final season unfolding in 3 parts. 7 Bears, an animated kids’ series based on Emile Bravo’s graphic novels, reimagines fairytales with a lovable bear twist. Meanwhile, Untamed, a new mystery-thriller led by Eric Bana, follows a National Parks agent uncovering secrets, and Glass Heart, a Japanese drama, explores music, romance and large-scale performances!
Here’s a closer look at what’s coming to Netflix this month.
THE SANDMAN (July 2)
After a fateful reunion with his family, Dream of the Endless (Tom Sturridge) must face one impossible decision after another as he attempts to save himself, his kingdom, and the waking world from the epic fallout of his past misdeeds. To make amends, Dream must confront longtime friends and foes, gods, monsters, and mortals. But the path to forgiveness is full of unexpected twists and turns, and true absolution may cost Dream everything.

Season 2 is released in two parts: Volume 1 (consisting of six episodes) airs Thursday, July 3, 2025. Volume 2 (consisting of 5 episodes) airs Thursday, July 24, 2025, and the finale (one episode) airs July 31.

7 BEARS (July 10)
Forget the Seven Dwarfs, here come the 7 Bears! So, look out Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, and Snow White, because this lovable pack of furballs is putting a fuzzy twist on the fairytales we thought we knew.
Based on the acclaimed graphic novels by Emile Bravo, The 7 Bears is brought to animated life by the award-winning animation studio, Folivari. Adorable!

UNTAMED (July 17)
Untamed is a new character-driven mystery-thriller starring Eric Bana (Hulk, The Dry) focusing on Kyle Turner, a special agent for the National Parks Service who works to enforce human law in nature’s vast wilderness.
The investigation of a brutal death sends him on a collision course with the dark secrets within the park, and in his own past.
Sam Neill, Rosemarie DeWitt, Lily Santiago, Wilson Bethel, and William Smillie also star.

GLASS HEART (July 31)
Glass Heart, a new series from Japan, tells the story of Akane Saijo (Yu Miyazaki), a college student and aspiring drummer, who finds herself suddenly kicked out of her band. However, things take a turn when the brilliant musician Naoki Fujitani (Takeru Satoh) stumbles upon her talent and invites her to join his new ensemble.
Per Netflix — The series sets a new benchmark in Japanese drama with its massive filming scale, including scenes featuring tens of thousands of extras for music performances. Prepare to be swept off your feet by the passion, music and drama of Glass Heart.

LEANNE (July 31)
Leanne’s (Leanne Morgan) world is turned upside down when her husband of 33 years unexpectedly leaves her for another woman. Supported by her family, including her ride-or-die sister Carol (Kristen Johnston), Leanne learns to embrace the chaos and finds strength, laughter and hope in the most unexpected places.
Leanne is co-created and executive produced by Susan McMartin, Chuck Lorre and Leanne Morgan. Nick Bakay and Judi Marmel also serve as executive producers. The series stars Morgan, Kristen Johnston, Graham Rogers, Hannah Pilkes, Ryan Stiles, Celia Weston and Blake Clark.
