Monday, July 27 to Sunday, August 2
As July turns to August this week, we say goodbye to more streaming favorites and prepare to welcome some returning staples. On Apple TV, the Colin Farrell-starring Sugar airs its Season 2 finale on Friday. The Film-Noir-with-a-twist drama series sees John Sugar playing one last card in a bid to save the lives of his clients. Also ending on Apple TV this week is the tense psychologist thriller Cape Fear. The streamer teases that while the Bowdens scramble to protect their own, Max has nothing left to lose.
It’s also a week of premieres. On Hulu and Disney+ (starting today) is Furious, a cat and mouse thriller involving a rookie FBI agent and the vigilante serial killer intent on evading capture. For sci-fi enthusiasts, The Ark also returns to the SYFY channel for Season 3, while Friday sees the Season 2 return of animated superhero drama Batman: Caped Crusader on Prime Video.
All that and the usual staples of Lucky, Stuart Fails to Save the World, House of the Dragon, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Silo, The Westies, and more.
