It’s a quieter week on the TV front, but there’s plenty to keep an avid TV fan locked in.
NBC continues to burn off the remaining episodes of the now-cancelled Brilliant Minds, so if you haven’t caught up, now’s your last chance.
On the streaming side, The Legend of Vox Machina returns for its fourth season on Prime Video (the streamer has already picked up a fifth and final season), dropping three episodes at once to kick things off.
Apple TV+ is having a strong week: the gripping thriller Cape Fear launches its first season, while both the darkly comic Widow’s Bay and the delightfully offbeat Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed keep their current seasons rolling with fresh instalments.
And if you’re a fan of Your Friends and Neighbors, don’t forget the season 2 finale drops this Friday.
Catch the week ahead here:
Wednesday, June 3

Apple TV+ | Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed — “Raisins” (Season 1, Episode 4)
A secret is revealed in Portland. Danger — and the cops — close in on Paula in Queens.
Prime Video | The Legend of Vox Machina — “One Year Later…” (Season 4, Episode 1)
Doty, take this down. I, Taryon Darrington, inventor and bestselling author, have met the most bewildering group of mercenaries in Exandria. A tall brooding one, a short angry one, and far too many pointy ears. They seem… promising?
Prime Video | The Legend of Vox Machina — “Trial by Water” (Season 4, Episode 2)
Doty, take this down. Antlers has gone off to do something terribly dangerous involving water. Meanwhile, Short Stuff and Jumbo are poking around places they probably shouldn’t be. I’ve arrived with important news. Doty, underline “important.”
Prime Video | The Legend of Vox Machina — “The Coronation” (Season 4, Episode 3)
Doty, take this down. We’ve gathered in a mountain village for a ceremony. The food is mediocre and my fellow adventurers haven’t spoken in a year. Uninvited guests crash the party. Rude. Doty, note that I handled it with grace.
Apple TV+ | Widow’s Bay — “Your Baggage” (Season 1, Episode 8)
Don’t worry about misplaced luggage. Old baggage always resurfaces in Widow’s Bay.
Apple TV+ | Criminal Record — “Going Down” (Season 2, Episode 7)
June is calling the shots now, as the team gets information about Cosmo’s next move.
NBC | Brilliant Minds — “Senses” (Season 2, Episode 16)
Wolf grapples with being a psych patient at Hudson Oaks and has a startling revelation. A renowned chef comes into Bronx General after a harrowing accident at his restaurant.

In order to stop this nefarious group from killing more innocents, the BAU is forced to work alongside an increasingly unpredictable Voit who has his own agenda.
Apple TV+ | Star City — “Bad Dancer” (Season 1, Episode 3) I
Irina has an unexpected encounter. The Soviets scramble to maintain dominance on the Moon.
FXX | Welcome to Wrexham — “Holiday Spirit” (Season 5, Episode 5)

Inspired by the 1991 remake directed by Martin Scorsese and produced by Steven Spielberg, a storm is coming for happily married attorneys Anna (Amy Adams) and Tom Bowden (Patrick Wilson) when Max Cady (Javier Bardem), the notorious killer they are responsible for putting behind bars, is let out of prison — and he wants vengeance.
Sunday, June 7

Paramount+ with Showtime | The Chi — “Beneath the Icy Veil” (Season 8, Episode 3)
