Peacock is gearing up for a massive scripted push over the next two years, leaning heavily into prestige thrillers, A-list collaborations, and a spiritual successor to one of the most beloved sitcoms in television history. Here’s what was unveiled at the streamer’s Upfronts presentation today at at Radio City Music Hall in New York.
Summer 2026
The summer kicks off with a mix of returning favorites and psychological mysteries.
The Capture (Season 3) – Premiering June 18 The surveillance thriller returns with Holliday Grainger as Rachel Carey. Now the acting head of SO15, Carey faces a world dominated by deepfakes and a new act of terror that threatens the very heart of the British establishment.
Strung (Film) – Premiering June 26 Directed by Malcolm D. Lee and featuring a powerhouse cast including Chloe Bailey, Lynn Whitfield, and Coco Jones, this film follows a violinist who enters the orbit of an enigmatic family, only to find their opulent world hides unsettling secrets.
The Five Star Weekend – Premiering July 9 Based on the Elin Hilderbrand novel, Jennifer Garner stars as Hollis Shaw, a famous cook who organizes a getaway to Nantucket with four friends from different stages of her life. The ensemble includes Gemma Chan, Regina Hall, and Chloë Sevigny.
The Undeclared War (Season 2) – Premiering August 27 Simon Pegg and Hannah Khalique-Brown return to GCHQ’s Malware Department. In the wake of a devastating cyber-attack, the team must root out a mole while facing an escalating global threat.
Fall 2026
As the weather cools, Peacock turns to workplace comedy and iconic horror lore.
The Paper – Season 2 Premiering September 2026. From the minds of Greg Daniels and Michael Koman, this series follows the documentary crew from The Office as they find a new subject: a struggling Midwestern newspaper. The cast features Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, and a cameo from Office alum Oscar Nuñez.
Crystal Lake – Premiering October 15. A24 and showrunner Brad Caleb Kane present the Friday the 13th expanded prequel series. Starring Linda Cardellini, this drama promises to dive deep into the origins of the infamous summer camp.
The Good Daughter – Premiering November 12 Rose Byrne and Meghann Fahy lead this limited thriller series. After a night of violence fractured their lives 20 years ago, two sisters are forced to confront buried secrets when a new attack hits their hometown.
Dig – Premiering November 2026 Produced by Amy Poehler and Mike Schur, this comedy follows an archaeology team in Greece. Starring Hugh Laurie and Poehler herself, the series blends historical discovery with high-energy humor.
Coming Soon & 2027
Ted: The Animated Series (Coming Soon) Seth MacFarlane reprises his role as the world’s most inappropriate teddy bear. Set 12 years after the films, Ted and John (Mark Wahlberg) are now neighbors navigating the mundanity of adult life, parenting, and dead-end jobs.
The Day of the Jackal (Season 2) – Premiering 2027 The elite assassin drama returns with Eddie Redmayne and Úrsula Corberó for another season of high-stakes international pursuit.
Superfakes – Premiering 2027 Lucy Liu stars in this gritty drama (executive produced by the Safdie Brothers) about a Chinatown counterfeit dealer who plunges into the black-market underworld to provide for her family.
