Apple TV’s July offerings kick off with the return of sci-fi series Silo, on July 3. Following a tense season 2 finale, Juliette Nicholas (Rebecca Ferguson) is back and looking for answers. However, suffering complete memory loss of her incredible journey to the outside world, she is unlikely to find answers in the short term. Fear not! Silo doesn’t intend to leave viewers hanging. This season will feature flashbacks to the ‘before times’ as we discover how humanity ended up in its current silo-bound predicament.
Later in the month, Anya Taylor Joy stars in Lucky, a crime thriller focusing on a young woman with a desire to leave her criminal past behind. But, to do that, she’s forced to embrace it fully in order to survive.
Family comedy Trying is also back this month. In Season 5, chaos strikes the family as bio-mom Kat returns to shake things up.
Then, at the end of the month, Jake Johnson leads a star-studded cast in an Apple Original comedy. The Dink sees an arrogant tennis pro (Johnson) forced to re-evalute his life and relationships after an injury relegates him to playing pickleball.
Silo (July 3)

Season three of Silo continues the saga of a dystopian society of 10,000 people living underground under mysterious circumstances, while revealing an origin story set centuries earlier.
In the present, Juliette Nichols (Rebecca Ferguson) survives her forced “cleaning” but returns with memory loss as the silo recovers from rebellion and faces a dangerous new threat.
Meanwhile, in the “Before Times,” journalist Helen Drew (Jessica Henwick) and Congressman Daniel Keene (Ashley Zukerman) uncover a conspiracy that pulls them into a chain of events with catastrophic, irreversible consequences.
Episode 1 “Who Are You” airs July 3, followed by 1 episode per week. In the premiere episode, new mayor Juliette can’t remember anything from her time outside — or her past.
Trying Season 5 (July 8)

Season five finds Nikki (Esther Smith) and Jason (Rafe Spall) dealing with the consequences of Princess (Scarlett Rayner) and Tyler’s (Cooper Turner) biological mother Kat (Charlotte Riley) turning up at their doorstep, and the whirlwind of chaos she brings into their settled family life.

But when Dusty reaggravates an old injury, taking away his ability to play tennis, he resorts to the unthinkable in the name of rehab. He not only tries pickleball, but, thanks in part to his enchanting new partner, Candace (Mary Steenburgen), he finds himself actually enjoying it.
