Just in: a new teaser trailer from HBO for IT: Welcome to Derry, which is set to debut this fall.

While details are still thin on the ground for the new prequel horror series right now, we can tell you that the drama is based in Stephen King’s IT universe, and set to “expand the vision established by filmmaker Andy Muschietti in the feature films IT (2017) and IT Chapter Two (2019),” according to the premium cabler.

Bill Skarsgård is also making a return as Pennywise the Clown.

Commenting on the new series, IT author Stephen King said “I’m excited that the story of Derry, Maine’s most haunted city, is continuing, and I’m glad Andy Muschietti is going to be overseeing the frightening festivities, along with a brain trust including his talented sister, Barbara. Red balloons all around!”

The series will debut on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max, with Andy Muschietti directing multiple episodes.

Also starring are Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, James Remar, Stephen Rider, Madeleine Stowe, and Rudy Mancuso.
