The Boys may be over, but fans of Eric Kripke’s insane universe have a new installment — Vought Rising — to look forward to.

Prime Video today revealed a first look at Vought Rising, the latest series set within the world of The Boys, starring Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash.

Premiering 20207, the new prequel series is set in the 1950s, and explores the twisted origins of Vought International.

Vought Rising stars Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash, who also serve as producers. The series also stars Mason Dye, Will Hochman, KiKi Layne, Jorden Myrie, Nicolo Pasetti, Elizabeth Posey, Ricky Staffieri, and Brian J. Smith.

Ackles (Soldier boy), Cash (Klara Risinger/Stormfront), and Dye (Bombsight) all made appearances over The Boys’ five seasons, with a recent episode devoted to Bombsight and Soldier Boy’s fraught past.

Paul Grellong will serve as showrunner and executive producer on the new series.

Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Ori Marmur, Ken Levin, Jason Netter, Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, Michaela Starr, and Jim Barnes also serve as executive producers on the series.

Vought Rising is produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios, in association with Kripke Enterprises, Point Grey Pictures, and Original Film.
