CBS Expands “FBI” Franchise With 2 Renewals & Another Spinoff

THE FBI FAMILY WELCOMES A NEW MEMBER

CBS is about to expand the FBI franchise with renewals for both FBI and FBI: Most Wanted, and a green light for FBI: International, all coming in the 2021/22 broadcast season.

FBI has been officially renewed for season, and FBI: Most Wanted has been renewed for season 3.

FBI: International will debut in a special crossover episode between both existing shows next season.

All shows are produced by the prolific Dick Wolf who is perhaps best known as the creator and executive producer of the Law & Order franchise for NBC.

FBI and FBI: Most wanted join the previously announced CBS renewals of The Neighborhood, Bob  Abishola and The Equalizer.

FBI: International is an intriguing and distinct drama that perfectly complements its compelling siblings, FBI and FBI: Most Wanted, creating an enviable triple-threat for next season that will fit seamlessly across our network lineup.”

FBI: International follows the elite agents of the FBI’s International division as they travel the world with the mission of protecting Americans wherever they may be.

Dick Wolf, Derek Haas, Rick Eid, Peter Jankowski and Arthur Forney will executive produce the series from Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with CBS Studios. Haas will serve as showrunner.
