Matlock returns to CBS on Oct. 12 for a second season of sleuthing.
In the premiere episode “The Before Times” Matty comes to question the paternity of the man claiming to be Alfie’s father. Meanwhile, the team takes on an arson case, Olympia tries to protect Julian’s involvement in the Wellbrexa case.
The hour was penned by Jennie Snyder Urman and Nicki Renna, and directed by Gina Lamar.
It airs Sunday, Oct. 12 (8:30-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+.
