Lucy, and the Ghoul formerly known as Cooper Howard, may finally have found something in common.

In this just-released trailer for Season 2 of Fallout on Prime Video this December, the pair find themselves in New Vegas where it appears Lucy’s Dad, Hank, has gone to ground. There Lucy cheerfully remarks “We’re actually beginning to get along!”

However it’s more than just a newfound sense of camaraderie that this chalk and cheese pair share this season. Both are searching for their families. While Lucy is determined to bring Hank to justice, it looks like Coop just wants to be reuinited with his wife and daughter — even if his wife was revealed to have been guilty of some pretty suspect actions in season one. In fact, the Ghoul admits the will to find his family is the only thing that has sustained him over the centuries.

Season 2 of the series, comprising 8 new episodes, will hit our screens on December 17, on Prime Video. The streamer will air one episode weekly, with the finale set to air on February 4, 2026.

This season Kumail Nanjiani and Macaulay Culkin join the cast, with Justin Theroux taking over the role of Mr. House from season one’s Rafi Silver.

Based on one of the video game franchise, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. Two-hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.

The series stars Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets, Sweetpea), Aaron Moten (Emancipation, Father Stu), Walton Goggins (The White Lotus, The Righteous Gemstones), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), Moisés Arias (The King of Staten Island), and Frances Turner (The Boys).

Fallout is produced by Kilter Films, with executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serve as executive producers, creators, and showrunners.

To date, Fallout Season One has amassed more than 100 million viewers worldwide, ranking among the service’s top three most-watched titles ever.  All episodes from Season One are currently available to stream on Prime Video.
