EVERYTHING WE KNOW ABOUT THE LINCOLN LAWYER SEASON 4
If you’ve been as obsessed with the Season 3 finale of The Lincoln Lawyer as much as we have, then you’ll be happy to learn the legal and action drama is back on our screens from February 5, 2026 on Netflix.
A shocking season ender saw Mickey (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) pulled over by a cop only for the pair to discover a dead body of a client in the trunk of Mickey’s Lincoln convertible.
Now Mickey finds himself on the other side of the courtroom process, framed by persons unknown, charged with murder, and unable to make the exorbitant $5 million bail.
What’s a hotshot, fast-thinking, charismatic lawyer gonna do but elect to defend himself?
The 10-episode fourth season, based on author Michael Connolly’s sixth book in the Lincoln Lawyer series, “The Law of Innocence,” went into production in February 2025, a year from the upcoming premiere.
“We are absolutely thrilled to share Season 4 of The Lincoln Lawyer with the world,” said co-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez in a statement.
“Following the incredibly suspenseful and emotional climax of Season 3, the stakes have never been higher, because this time Mickey is the client. With his very life and reputation on the line, he’ll need the strength and support of his entire team, and his entire family, to fight for his future.”
The Lincoln Lawyer, based on the best-selling book series by Connolly, focuses on defense attorney Mickey Haller (Garcia-Rulfo), an iconoclastic idealist, who runs his law practice out of the back seat of his Lincoln, as he takes on cases big and small across the expansive city of Los Angeles.
Humphrey and Rodriguez promise “signature twists, along with the unique blend of suspense, humor and heart our fans love, as every character must confront not only Mickey’s predicament but their own personal challenges along the way.”
Season 4 will see the return of Mickey’s crew in the form of Becki Newton (Lorna), Jazz Raycole (Izzy) and Angus Sampson (Cisco).
Additionally, fans of Neve Campbell’s Maggie have cause to celebrate. Her character is set to return in a more substantial role this season.
This season the gang will be joined by guest stars Cobie Smulders (The Avengers), Sasha Alexander (The Morning Show, Shameless) and Constance Zimmer (UnREAL, Entourage).
Zimmer takes on the role of “Death Row Dana” Berg, a colleague of Maggie’s from her day’s in the LA District Attorney’s office. Dana is described as a relentless prosecutor who will let nothing stand in the way of a guilty verdict, and “a fierce and ruthless adversary who bends the rules to her advantage, she’s the last person Mickey wants to go up against in what will be the trial of his life.”
And while Smulder’s role is being kept under wraps for now, Alexander will recur as no-nonsense and intimidating FBI Agent Dawn Ruth whose presence poses a threat to Mickey’s investigation.
Kyle Richards, Scott Lawrence, Jason Butler Harner, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Jason O’Mara, Javon Johnson will also guest this season, along with renowned chef Nancy Silverton who will cameo as herself.
The Lincoln Lawyer was created for television by David E Kelley and was developed for television by Ted Humphrey, who serves as co-showrunner alongside Dailyn Rodriguez.
Connelly is an executive producer and writer on the series.
“This is going to be the biggest and most personal challenge Mickey has ever faced, and also the biggest roller coaster we’ve yet taken our audience on,” said Humphrey.
