Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones, Avengers: Infinity War) will join the cast of SHOWTIME’S Dexter: Resurrection, it was revealed today.

Dinklage will take on the series regular role of Leon Prater, a billionaire venture capitalist. To the world, Leon is a generous philanthropist, but behind his polished exterior lies dark intrigue.

Dexter: Resurrection picks up after the events of Dexter: New Blood and the frame story of Original Sin. Previously announced cast included Uma Thurman, along with David Zayas, James Remar and Jack Alcott, who are set to reprise their original roles as Detective Angel Batista, Harry Morgan, and Harrison Morgan, respectively.

The series, starring Michael C. Hall in the titular role, kicked off production in January 2025 in New York with an eye to launch this summer on Paramount+ with SHOWTIME

Dexter: Resurrection is executive produced and showrun by Clyde Phillips (Dexter, Dexter: Original Sin, Nurse Jackie). The series is produced by SHOWTIME Studios and Counterpart Studios.

Michael C. Hall (Dexter, Six Feet Under) also serves as executive producer along with Scott Reynolds (Jessica Jones), Tony Hernandez (Emily in Paris) and Lilly Burns (Russian Doll).
