Taylor Sheridan’s latest modern day Western stars Michelle Pfeiffer & Kurt Russell
Paramount+ has officially set a premiere date for The Madison, the latest chapter in Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone universe.
The neo-western drama series will kick off on the streamer from March 14, and boasts an impressive cast led by Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell, and also starring Beau Garrett, Elle Chapman, Patrick J. Adams, Amiah Miller, Alaina Pollack, Ben Schnetzer, Kevin Zegers, Rebecca Spence, Danielle Vasinova, and Matthew Fox.
Set across Montana and Manhattan, The Madison centers on the Clyburn family and is described as a heartfelt exploration of grief, resilience, and human connection. According to the official loglines, the series follows a New York City family whose lives are transformed after relocating to the Madison River valley of central Montana, where personal loss and emotional reckoning collide with the stark beauty of the American West.
The series is created by Yellowstone‘s Taylor Sheridan, who also serves as executive producer through his Bosque Ranch Productions banner. Sheridan is joined by an extensive producing team including David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Christina Voros, Michael Friedman, as well as Pfeiffer, Russell, and Keith Cox.
The series is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios in association with Bosque Ranch Productions.
The Madison is just one of three Yellowstone series set to land this year. The streamer also has The Dutton Ranch in the works — a spinoff centered on Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, and starring Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser. Meanwhile, Luke Grimes will reprise his role as Kayce Dutton in the upcoming CBS series Marshals (formerly Y: Marshals), which is scheduled to premiere on March 1.
