Paramount+ is locking down its summer streaming schedule.

The streaming service announced today that the highly anticipated second season of its spy thriller The Agency will officially premiere on June 21 2026 at 12:00 AM PT / 3:00 AM ET.

In keeping with its standard binge-model programming for major dramas, all ten episodes of the sophomore installment will drop at once. Along with the official date, the streamer debuted a tense first-look trailer and a gallery of production images, giving viewers their first glimpse at the escalating chaos.

Based on Eric Rochant’s critically acclaimed French political drama Le Bureau des Légendes (The Bureau internationally), The Agency follows Martian (Michael Fassbender), a CIA covert agent living deeply undercover within his own reality. Per the official logline for season two, the geopolitical stakes take an intensely personal turn: Martian’s lover, Samia (Jodie Turner-Smith), is being held as a political prisoner in Sudan. To save her, Martian must operate past the point of treachery, navigating a dangerous path where his only option is to sink deeper into the web of deceit.

The series continues to boast one of the most stacked ensembles on streaming. Returning alongside Fassbender and Turner-Smith are Jeffrey Wright, Katherine Waterston, and Richard Gere.

The sprawling season two cast also includes Harriet Sansom Harris, John Magaro, Saura Lightfoot-Leon, India Fowler, Andrew Brooke, Christian Ochoa Lavernia, Reza Brojerdi, Ambreen Razia, and Alex Reznik. British television heavyweights Dominic West and Hugh Bonneville are locked in to guest star, while Medalion Rahimi, Tessa Ferrer, Clayne Crawford, Keanush Tafreshi, and Raza Jaffrey will appear in recurring roles.

Jez Butterworth and John-Henry Butterworth return as writers and executive producers. The series was commissioned by Paramount+ and produced in association with Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios.

The original French series, The Bureau, was created by Eric Rochant and remains a Création CANAL+ original series produced by TOP – The Originals Productions and Federation Studios.
