Netflix has set a definitive return date for Lucifer.
The show will return with the remaining episodes of the season (5B) on Friday, May 28.
Production on the series paused due to Coronavirus issues last year, but resumed again in late September. To date there are 8 remaining episodes to air from Season 5, bringing the total to 16 this season.
The show has already been renewed for a sixth and final season, which will bring the total number of episodes to 93.
Speaking to TVLine, D.B. Woodside, who plays Amenadiel, teased the following about the upcoming back half of the season:
“When God (Dennis Haysbert) comes, a lot of chaos is going to follow. We pick up literally two seconds from where we ended, and Amenadiel is absolutely humiliated that God saw him behaving the way that he was with his brothers because as the oldest, he’s really supposed to be the one that sets the example — and he was not doing that!”
Lucifer stars Tom Ellis, Lauren German, D.B. Woodside, Lesley Ann-Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris, Aimee Garcia, and Scarlett Estevez.
Season 5B guest stars will include Dennis Haysbert, Rob Benedict, Scott Porter, Merrin Dungey, and Brianna Hildebrand.
Inbar Lavi, who played Eve throughout season 5 is also set to return.
