Fans of Magnum P.I. have cause to celebrate. When the show makes its season 5 debut on NBC on January 19, not only will the evening kick off with Season 4 encore telecasts at 7 and 8 p.m. but the Network will air 2 new back to back episodes at 9 and 10 p.m.
The double episode premiere sees new drama series Found pushed from its originally intended Jan. 19 mid-season premiere spot to Fall 2023. NBC has committed to ordering additional scripts for the series as a show of its commitment.
Commenting on Found’s move, Susan Rovner, Chairman of Entertainment Content at NBC said “After watching the first few episodes of Found it quickly became clear that our love for this show has continued to grow and grow with each step of the process. Our goal is always to find the absolute best home for all our series, and it’s particularly the case with one as important as this. By moving it to fall, we’re able to better leverage our resources, including lead-in and marketing muscle, enabling us to launch Found to the largest possible audience across all our platforms.”
