FOX has renewed crime thriller Memory of a Killer for Season 2. The news comes following Monday’s season finale episode, “Exposed.”

Both Aaron Zelman and Glenn Kessler are set to return as co-showrunners when the show returns as part of the Network’s 2026-27 Primetime lineup later this year.

Memory of a Killer has become a true standout with visceral performances from Patrick Dempsey and Michael Imperioli,” said Fox president Michael Thorn in a statement today.

“Aaron Zelman, Glenn Kessler, and our partners at Warner Bros. Television have delivered a sharp, emotional character-driven thriller that’s clearly landed with viewers, and we’re excited to continue that success together in Season 2.”

The series follows a New York hitman (Patrick Dempsey) who neatly and carefully divides his very different work and family lives until early-onset Alzheimer’s makes him vulnerable to a mysterious presence from his past who is keen to see his identity revealed.

Also starring are Michael Imperioli, Gina Torres, Richard Harmon, Michaela McManus Peter Gadiot, Richard Clarkin, and Odeya Rush.
