Prime Video’s second season of Fallout is shifting perspective to New Vegas, when the show returns on Dec. 17, 2025.
The location, teased at the end of the futuristic sci-fi show’s first season, is a staple location from the video game series from which the show is adapted, with the game Fallout: New Vegas widely considered the best of of the franchise’s offerings.
Fallout follows the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. Two-hundred years after a nuclear war and ensuing apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind where they are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.
If the TV follows the Fallout: New Vegas video game then fans can look forward to seeing a lot more of Mr. House, aka Robert House, a central antagonist from the game. Mr House was originally a a pre-war business magnate who preserved himself using advanced technology and later became the enigmatic ruler of the New Vegas strip.
On the TV show actor Rafi Silver took on the role of Robert Edwin House, the CEO of RobCo industries we first met in Howard’s (Walton Goggins) season one’s flashbacks to pre war America. House was also a member of he war-profiting conglomerate behind Vault-Tec, the group that famously shut down Williams/Moldaver’s cold-fusion research in favor of profiteering from a lucrative war with China.
Prime Video announced today that in Season 2, Mr House will be played by new cast member, Justin Theroux, in the role.

This season is set reference some iconic game locations such as the Lucky 38, The Tops, and Dinky the T-Rex, further strengthening the show’s roots to the game series. The iconic game setting of New Vegas and the return of Mr. House are part of that plan.
