ABCs revival of iconic Medical Dramedy series Scrubs has swelled the ranks of its core cast with nine new recurring cast additions.

To to the already announced roster of series regulars, including Zach Braff (JD), Donald Faison (Turk) Sarah Chalke (Elliot), Judy Reyes (Carla), and John C. McGinley (Cox), are Robert Maschio (Todd) and Phill Lewis (Hooch), two of Sacred Hearts’ more outlandish characters from the original series.

These familiar faces will be joined by joined by Vanessa Bayer as Sibby, the wellness program coordinator for the hospital’s faculty and staff, and Joel Kim Booster as attending physician Dr. Eric Park.

Of course it wouldn’t be a medical drama (or comedy) without its interns. The reboot is welcoming five newbies to the series as reported by Variety: Ava Bunn as Serena, Jacob Dudman as Asher, David Gridley as Blake, Layla Mohammadi as Amara, and Amanda Morrow as Dashana.

ABC teases that “JD & Turk scrub in together for the first time in a long time. Medicine has changed, interns have changed, but their bromance has stood the test of time. Characters new and old navigate the waters of Sacred Heart with laughter, heart, and some surprises along the way.”
