It’s October and that means new additions to Game Pass, the Game Catalog, Game Pass Core, Pre-order, and Beta on Xbox. Our monthly guide (but actually updated weekly) provides a run down of what’s coming to the Game Pass Library over the month ahead (look out for two announcements over the following weeks), what’s hitting the Game Catalog, what’s leaving Xbox, and more.

NEW TO THE GAME PASS LIBRARY

Game Pass library additions are usually announced in two batches by Microsoft — one at the start of the month, and another drop happening some time in the middle of the month. As new titles are announced they will appear below, in chronological order. Here’s what’s confirmed for October so far:

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Early Access Open Beta — Starts October 2

In Call of Duty®: Black Ops 7, Treyarch and Raven Software are bringing players the most mind-bending Black Ops ever across an innovative Co-Op Campaign, an electrifying Multiplayer experience, and the legendary Round-Based Zombies mode.

Little Rocket Lab (Cloud, Console, PC) — October 7

Transform your childhood home as you build brilliant factories and forge lifelong friendships, then reach for the skies and finally finish your family’s dream – your mother’s precious rocket ship. Roll up your sleeves, it turns out that saving this town really IS rocket science!

Keeper (Cloud, Console, PC) — October 17

Keeper is a story told without words, in which a long-forgotten lighthouse is awakened and embarks upon an unexpected journey into realms beyond understanding.

Ninja Gaiden 4 (Cloud, Console, PC) — October 21

The definitive ninja action-adventure franchise returns with NINJA GAIDEN 4! Embark on a cutting-edge adventure where legacy meets innovation in a high-octane blend of style and no-holds-barred combat.

The Outer Worlds 2 (Cloud, Console, PC) — October 29

The sequel to the critically acclaimed RPG from Obsidian Entertainment.

As a daring and most likely good-looking Earth Directorate agent, you must uncover the source of devastating rifts threatening to destroy all of humanity. Your investigation leads to Arcadia, home of skip drive technology, where the fate of the colony, and ultimately the entire galaxy, rests on your decisions — your strengths, your flaws, your crew, and the factions you choose to trust.

Explore a New Frontier The Arcadia colony is engulfed in a factional war, as the Protectorate’s so-called benevolent rule is challenged by the rebellion of their religious order and a corporate invasion. As destructive rifts spread across the colony, each faction fights to control or close them for their own ends.

Navigate diverse zones, uncover hidden lore, and shape the fate of a system on the brink! Your Commander, Your Way!

Build your character with the abilities and choices that reflect your playstyle. The colony reacts to your every move, crafting a narrative that’s yours to own—whether you’re a disciple of diplomacy, an astute strategist, a crusader for chaos, or something different altogether. And yes, you can dumb!

Enlist Your Companions Recruit companions with unique traits, backgrounds and goals. Whether you choose to help them achieve their ambitions or steer them toward your own objectives, your influence shapes their growth (or death), making them an integral part of the immersive story you create together.
