August is almost upon us, and that means a reshuffle of the Xbox game library.
Once again, Microsoft has announced a collection of new Game Pass additions, with Farming Simulator 25, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 Enhanced, and Gears of War: Reloaded all set to land this month.
July 31 is also the cut-off date for a number of titles that are set to leave Game Pass. Check out what’s departing below.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 Enhanced (Cloud, Console and PC) – August 12

This new version of the original game features a number of key enhancements including a performance mode that supports 60 FPS on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 (sadly not available on Xbox Series S). On PC, a new “Very High” preset pushes visual fidelity further, and the game is now Steam Deck Verified for optimized performance, providing smoother gameplay all around. Additionally, a new Dark Rot challenge mode, enhanced photo mode, and developer commentary should keep even the most casual of fans happy.
The Enhanced version is a free update for existing owners or Game Pass subscribers.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 12

Making a return to the Game Pass library, no doubt due to Alien: Earth, premiering on FX on the same day, is Aliens: Fireteam Elite. The game is a cooperative third-person survival game set in the iconic Alien Universe. Battle through hordes of different types of Xenomorph, customize your character and gear, and level-up as you try to contain this ever-growing threat.
Herdling (Cloud, Console and PC) – August 21

From Okomotive, the creators of FAR: Lone Sails and FAR: Changing Tides comes Herdling, a game in which players guide a herd of fantastical creatures called Calicorns through stunning mountainscapes, fog-wreathed forests, snowy plateaus, and forgotten valleys.
The gameplay focuses on herding these creatures, navigating environmental puzzles, and overcoming eerie dangers and obstacles to reach a mysterious summit. Herdling features a wordless narrative centered on trust, companionship, and survival.
Gears of War: Reloaded (Cloud, Console and PC) – August 26

- A remastered version of the original Gears of War (2006), and developed by The Coalition in partnership with Sumo Digital and Disbelief. it’s actually the second remaster of the iconic third-person shooter, following Gears of War: Ultimate Edition (2015).
The game includes all the original content from Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, such as the bonus campaign act, all multiplayer maps (19 remastered maps), modes, and unlockable characters/cosmetics etc.
