If you’re a gamer, this is your Super Bowl week. June has become the undisputed centre of the gaming calendar, and 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most packed yet. Here’s a rundown of every major showcase happening this week and when to tune in.

June 1

The ball got rolling on Sunday when The MIX Summer Game Showcase fired the opening shot of the season with an online broadcast featuring more than 60 indie game reveals, including world premieres for Breathedge 2, Toxic Crusaders, and Twinkle’s Galactic Tour. The MIX is also hosting an in-person follow-up event on June 5 at the Grammy Museum Rooftop in Los Angeles, where attendees can get hands-on demo time with unreleased games and meet the developers behind them.

June 2

Two presentations today. First, the Black Voices in Gaming showcase streams live on Twitch at 12pm PT / 3pm ET / 8pm BST, spotlighting games from Black creators around the world. Then at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 10pm BST, PlayStation’s State of Play takes centre stage — a 60-minute broadcast widely expected to include an extended look at Insomniac Games’ long-awaited Marvel’s Wolverine.

June 3

The Shacknews Indie Showcase airs at 2:30pm PT / 5:30pm ET / 10:30pm BST, with a further focus on smaller, independent titles worth putting on your radar.

June 4

A strong double-header today. At 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 10pm BST, the Latin American Games Showcase returns as its biggest edition yet, featuring 80 titles and nine world premieres. It’s immediately followed at 4pm PT / 7pm ET / 12am BST by the Women-Led Games Showcase, hosted by Briana White, celebrating the studios and developers pushing the medium forward — with five world premieres and announcements expected.

June 5

The main event. Summer Game Fest Live broadcasts from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, hosted by Geoff Keighley alongside Lucy James. Keighley has promised a “spectacular, cross-platform showcase of what’s next in video games” — which in SGF terms usually means a steady stream of trailers, world premieres, and a few genuine surprises. Also on the bill today: Day of the Devs, the beloved non-profit indie showcase, and the Access-Ability Summer Showcase, which highlights games designed with accessibility in mind. The MIX’s in-person event also wraps up at the Grammy Museum Rooftop.

June 7

The week closes with the Xbox Games Showcase, Microsoft’s annual flagship presentation, immediately followed by a dedicated Gears of War: E-Day Direct for a deeper dive into one of Xbox’s most anticipated upcoming titles. Also airing this week but without confirmed dates at time of writing: the PC Gaming Show and the Future Games Show, both of which typically surface a healthy mix of indie gems and mid-tier releases that fly under the radar of the bigger presentations.

Whether you’re a PlayStation loyalist, an Xbox devotee, or a PC gamer hunting for the next indie obsession, there’s something here for everyone. Set your alarms. What game reveals are you looking forward to?
