The Critics Choice Association unveiled its television winners at the 31st annual Critics Choice Awards on Sunday, honoring a year of ambitious storytelling across broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, HBO Max’s The Pitt emerged as a major winner, taking Best Drama Series and earning Noah Wyle the award for Best Actor in a Drama Series. Apple TV meanwhile continued its strong showing with Rhea Seehorn winning Best Actress in a Drama Series for Pluribus.
Comedy was similarly dominated by Apple TV, with critical darling The Studio named Best Comedy Series, and series star Seth Rogen winning Best Actor in a Comedy Series. Jean Smart, no stranger to awards season took home the award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for Hacks.
Meanwhile, Netflix’s Adolescence won for Best Limited Series, with further wins for Stephen Graham (Best Actor), Owen Cooper (Best Supporting Actor) and Erin Doherty (Best Supporting Actress).
