FBI returns tonight, the sole survivor of a franchise that has seen both FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted cut from CBS’ 2025/26 TV schedule.
Returning for Season 8, the show opens with “Takeover” an episode in which a federal judge disappears. However a routine investigation takes a dark turn when the team discovers the judge had been searching for his missing son on a secluded island on the city’s edge, where authority has crumbled.
Elsewhere in the hour reality weighs heavily on Jubal, as he takes on a new leadership role.
“Takeover” was written by Mike Weiss, and directed by Alex Chapple.
It airs Monday, Oct. 13 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs).
Official photography from “Takeover” follows in our weekly FBI gallery below.
