Paramount+ has officially announced that Season 19 of Criminal Minds: Evolution will premiere on Thursday, May 28, 2026, with a two-episode launch kicking off the latest chapter of the long-running crime drama.

The new season will consist of 10 episodes, with new installments releasing weekly through the season finale on July 23.

According to Paramount+, the upcoming season will once again follow the Behavioral Analysis Unit as the elite team tackles a fresh wave of disturbing and complex cases. At the center of the story is Elias Voit, whose attempts to atone for his past mistakes unintentionally pave the way for a dangerous new adversary known only as “The Fan.”

Described as highly intelligent, methodical, and obsessed with proving themselves superior to their idol, the new UnSub is expected to push the BAU further than ever before while continuing the lingering shadow cast by Voit’s crimes.

The series stars Joe Mantegna, A.J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, Aisha Tyler, Zach Gilford, and RJ Hatanaka, alongside returning cast members Adam Rodriguez and Paget Brewster.

Season 19 will also feature an extensive lineup of guest stars, including Connor Storrie, Justin Kirk, Yvette Nicole Brown, Jeri Ryan, Clark Gregg, Paul F. Tompkins, Cress Williams, Kofi Siriboe, Dash Mihok, and Nicholas Gonzalez.

This season sees Erica Messer returning as showrunner and executive producer. Additional executive producers include Breen Frazier, Chris Barbour, Glenn Kershaw, and Mark Gordon.

The series is produced by 20th Television and CBS Studios.
