First look photos from Severance’s third episode of the new season have dropped.
Titled “Who is Alive?” Apple TV teases the following about Friday’s next installment.
Mark and Helly return to an old haunt. Irving and Dylan make separate discoveries. Outie Mark tries something new.
The series focuses on Mark Scout (Adam Scott) who leads a team at Lumon Industries, where select employees have undergone a severance procedure, surgically dividing their memories between their work and personal lives.
This daring experiment in “work-life balance” is called into question as Mark finds himself at the center of an unraveling mystery that will force him to confront the true nature of his work … and of himself.
In season two, Mark and his friends learn the dire consequences of trifling with the severance barrier, leading them further down a path of woe. Episode one saw Mark returning to work minus his colleagues Dylan (Zach Cherry), Irving (John Turturro) and Helly (Britt Lower).
However after some quick thinking and a lot of wrangling from Mark (and also behind the scenes at Lumon) episode 2 saw the gang finally back together. Or are they?
With Lumon on the back foot, and determined to keep the truth about Mark’s wife Gemma/Ms Casey (Dichen Lachman) from Mark’s Outie, Helena has taken a “special interest” in Mark’s innie.
“Who is Alive?” airs Friday, January 31 on Apple TV+.
