First look photos from Season 2 episode 2 of HBO Max’s Peacemaker have dropped.
The hour sees Chris Smith / Peacemaker (John Cena) continuing to grapple with the moral and emotional complexities of the alternate reality in the aftermath of the accidental death of his AU counterpart.
The episode is titled “A Man is Only as Good as his Bird.” It was written by James Gunn, and directed by Greg Mottola.
It airs Thursday, August 28, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Max.
Episode 2 is part of an 8-episode second season that began on Thursday, Aug. 21. In season 2, Peacemaker discovers an alternate world where life is everything he wishes it could be. But this discovery also forces him to face his traumatic past and take the future into his own hands.
Season 2 stars staples John Cena, Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, Steve Agee, and Robert Patrick return. Joining the cast for season two are Frank Grillo, David Denman, Sol Rodriguez, and Tim Meadows.
