FBI returns, post holidays hiatus, to CBS on Jan. 28 with episode 7×09 “Descent.”

The hour sees the investigation into an assistant U.S. attorney’s death leading the team to a related airline whistleblower scandal and the chilling discovery that they don’t have much time to thwart terrorists from crashing numerous in-flight commercial airplanes.

Meanwhile, dealing with the memory of his brother, who was a 9/11 victim, the case pushes Scola hard to prevent another catastrophe.

“Descent” was written by Aaron Ginsburg, and directed by Carlos Bernard.

It airs Tuesday, Jan. 28 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+
