AMY’S MENTOR VISITS WESTSIDE
Amy grapples with having memories while treating a mother-to-be with a mysterious condition in Doc’s second episode of the new season.
Titled “Delusions of Grandeur” the hour also sees Dr. Joan Ridley (Felicity Huffman), Amy’s mentor, visits Westside. Huffman’s role on the show has been teased by Fox for some time now, with the network teasing that the dynamic between Amy and Joan will be dynamic will be “layered, charged, and deeply rooted in mutual respect, with just enough friction to keep it honest”
So much so that we’ll see Michael (Omar Metwally) offering her the open Chief of Internal Medicine job at Westside, succeeding Dr. Richard Miller (Scott Poter).
While it’s true that she’s here to help Amy, and the rest of the department, the Network teases Joan also has a secret that’s motivating her even more.
The “Delusions of Grandeur” episode of Doc airs Tuesday, Sep 30 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT on FOX.
