LOVE IS IN THE AIR
Love is in the air in Doc’s Feb. 25 episode, “Man’s Plans.”
As part of her final evaluation, Amy and Richard find themselves working together on a case when a combative and seemingly alcoholic woman is admitted to the hospital after a fall outside a supermarket.
However, when the pair realize the patient’s initial diagnosis is not at all what it seems, they must put their heads together creatively to find the best and most empathic course of treatment.
But as Richard battles two fronts – at home, and his anxiety about the death of his patient in the premiere episode – Amy unknowingly ponders a clue as to Richard’s former actions.
Meanwhile, Michael struggles with his feelings in the light of new information, and Jake wonders if his relationship with Amy will damage her chances at being reinstated as a full doctor.
And last but not least, in the second case of the week, a young man finds himself in a romcom-like predicament, when the ‘girl that got away’ plans to come to his high-school reunion. However, the would-be happy couple are thwarted by a hole in the heart, a collection of misunderstandings, and the girl next door.
As the romantic drama unfolds the docs are left to guess how this particular romance might resolve itself.
