Chicago P.D.’s season opener left fans reeling after a character death in the show’s closing seconds.

The second episode, titled “Blood Bleeds Blue” sees the unit, already overworked, struggling to persevere during an adrenalized manhunt across the city in search of those responsible.

The “Blood Bleeds Blue” episode of Chicago P.D. airs Wednesday, October 2 (10-11 p.m. ET) on NBC.
