Death! Divorce! Despair! Dancing!
It’s all going on in tonight’s new episode of Brilliant Minds.
Titled “The Blackout Bride” (originally and ominously named “The Killer Bride” in our advance promotional materials), tonight’s episode follows an especially busy night at Bronx General.
The action kicks off when Dr Wolf learns his John Doe patient is about to be moved to another facility where he is likely to receive a poorer standard of care. The news prompts Wolf to call in the gang to see if they can find a reason to keep John around.
However Wolf’s attention is soon divided when a newly married bride appears in the E.R., her wedding dress covered in her husband’s blood, and with no memory of where she has been, or where her husband might be now.
Deciding to take a bold risk, Wolf pops a mystery pill from the bride’s purse, hoping that he can tag along for the same psychedelic ride the young couple took, and maybe retrace their steps. However, when Wolf realises the pill contains a cocktail of drugs, both he and intern Dana are in for a long night that unearths surprising aspects of Wolf’s personality.
Meanwhile, Ericka and Jacob find themselves at odds over how to manage John Doe’s treatment. While Ericka focuses on the patient’s history, Jacob, feeling the case is futile, takes a backseat.
However when the pair find a way to get along, they discover a break in the patient’s case.
And Dr. Carol and erstwhile husband Morris are forced to pull together when their daughter Maya breaks curfew.
“The Blackout Bride” airs tonight on NBC at 10 – 11pm ET/PT.
