AVOWED

This first-person fantasy RPG, from Obsidian Entertainment, underscores Microsoft’s strategy to bolster its subscription service with higher-quality titles.
This first-person RPG is set in the same universe as Obsidian’s Pillars of Eternity series, specifically in the untamed region known as the Living Lands. Players take on the role of an envoy sent to investigate a mysterious plague corrupting the land and its inhabitants.
With themes of exploration, choice, and consequence throughout, in addition to a narrative that focuses on personal identity, the nature of power, and how your decisions shape not only your character’s fate but also the destiny of the Living Lands, players navigate through a series of vibrant biomes, from lush forests to harsh deserts, uncovering secrets and facing moral dilemmas that impact the story’s outcome. Combat blends melee and magic, allowing for customizable play styles.
Avowed promises a deep lore, branching dialogues, and the signature Obsidian touch of player-driven narratives where your choices genuinely matter.
