A surprise update to Cyberpunk 2077 has left fans feeling a mixture of curiosity and excitement this week.
CD Projekt Red has announced an unexpected update for the game, Patch 2.2, in a decision that contradicts their earlier statement that major updates had now ceased.
According to sources the new patch will not support PS5 Pro or include a New Game Plus mode but will however introduce a number of new features.
All will be revealed during a livestream on December 10, 2024, at 5 PM CET, available on Twitch and YouTube.
The announcement has naturally generated some excitement in the Cyberpunk 2077 community, with most fans expressing appreciation for the ongoing development support.
Update: Per CD Projekt Red the update includes Photo Mode improvements including improved camera, depth of field improvements, and the ability to display photos in your living space, in addition to a host of customization options such as hairsyles, tattoos, cyberwear and colors. Fans can also trick out a series of new rides with new car paint jobs, and even ride along with Johnny.
