Fans of the chilling and atmospheric Little Nightmares series have a thrilling double feature to look forward to, as Little Nightmares lll and Little Nightmares: Enhanced Edition are both slated for release this October. 10, 2025.
The latest instalment in the beloved horror-adventure series by introduces players to a new setting called the Nowhere. Players take on the roles of Low and Alone, best friends ever since they found each other in this lonely nightmare. They have been traveling together in search of what every Visitor wants: an escape from the Nowhere. Like other Visitors, they’ve been through many harrowing moments, only surviving thanks to their teamwork and quick thinking.
Now, they have a plan that will supposedly let them leave this unpleasant dream behind, but to get to their destination, they’ll have to explore, hide, and even defend themselves, working together as a team.
The game promises to retain the series’ signature blend of stealth, puzzle-solving, and psychological horror, while introducing cooperative gameplay mechanics that allow players to tackle the terrors together.
The inclusion of a Nintendo Switch 2 version has also generated buzz, marking one of the first major titles confirmed for the next-generation console.
Bandai Namco Entertainment and developer Supermassive Games confirmed this week that both titles will launch across multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC, promising a spine-chilling experience just in time for the Halloween season.
The news comes following Xbox’s announcement that Little Nightmares II will be one of the titles available on Game Pass in July. The title will drop on July 1 and will be available on Cloud, Console, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, Game Pass Standard.
Meanwhile Little Nightmares III drops October 10, 2025.
