The latest twist in Hulu and Disney+’s new drama series Paradise?
The show has been renewed for Season 2 ahead of its first finale “The Man Who Kept the Secrets” on March 4.
Created by This is Us’ Dan Fogelman, Paradise is a blended genre drama series starring Sterling K. Brown and James Marsden. Part who-dunit, part speculative fiction, the series focuses on Xavier Collins (Brown) head of President Cal Bradford’s (Marsden) security detail on the day the president is assassinated.
As Collins struggles to identify the killer, we begin to see he is not operating from a level playing field. Collins, along with 25,000 other survivors, is — spoiler alert — living in a sophisticated underground city following a cataclysmic event that destroyed humanity almost entirely.
Will Collins’ investigation expose a dangerous killer with a murky agenda, or only end up harming the fragile remnants who call their underground bunker home?

STERLING K. BROWN, ALIYAH MASTIN
Paradise premiered to 7 million views in its first week across Hulu in the U.S. and on Disney+ internationally.
The series, which also stars Julianne Nicholson, Krys Marshall, Jon Beavers, Charlie Evans, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Aliyah Mastin, Gerald McRaney, and Percy Daggs IV, has been praised for its creativeness and for Brown’s performance.
TVPulse Magazine called the show “boldly ambitious” adding that “By seamlessly weaving together a compelling murder mystery with high-concept speculative fiction, [Paradise] offers something fresh yet emotionally resonant. To boot, Sterling K. Brown delivers a powerhouse performance, anchoring the series with his nuanced portrayal of a man grappling with loss, loyalty, and survival.”
Paradise is executive produced by Fogelman, Brown, John Requa, Glenn Ficarra, John Hoberg, Jess Rosenthal and Steve Beers.
The Season One finale drops on Hulu on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
