Doctor Odyssey is set to turn up the heat with 2 shark-themed episodes on March 6th and 13th.
Titled “Shark Attack!” and “Shark Attack! Part Two: Orca!” the 2-parter sees the crew facing tough decisions, both romantically and professionally, when attempting a dangerous rescue in shark-infested waters.
The mid-season return kicks off with Max (Joshua Jackson) and Avery (Phillipa Soo) facing a difficult decision about Avery’s pregnancy.
However that decision is complicated when the crew is called upon to rescue a sinking boat surrounded by sharks, where a passenger — trauma surgeon Dr. Brooke Lane (Adrianne Palicki, The Orville, John Wick, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) — soon catches Max’s eye.
As the team struggles to treat shark wounds (including those of Munroe!) amid a power outage, romantic tensions flare between Max and Brooke as new sparks fly between two former flames.
All that an emergency operation too?
Doctor Odyssey returns Thursday, March 13 (9:00-10:00 p.m. EDT) on ABC.
