Warhorse Studios has done it again. Broke another record, that is.

In partnership with publisher Deep Silver, the Games studio has sold 2 million units of Kingdom Come: Deliverance in just under 2 weeks! (It seems like just a week ago we were writing about the studio’s first million sales?)

Warhorse celebrated the remarkable achievement in a tweet today, saying “Two million copies in under two weeks! A toast to you all for making #KCD2 a triumph!”

The game, a sequel to 2018’s action RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance, is also set in Bohemia in the year 1403, a time of massive political upheaval, and the turmoil of civil war. You return as Henry of Henry of Skalitz (Tom McKay), the son of a blacksmith, turned knight in service of Sir Radzig Kobyla (Michael Pitthan).

Together with the knight Sir Hans Capon of Perkstein (Luke Dale), you set out to deliver a simple letter to Otto Von Bergow. However when things take a sudden and deadly turn, Henry must rely on his wits (or brawn, or stealth, or charm — depending on how you choose to play) to regain all he has lost and finish his mission.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will conclude Henry’s story, but how it ends might just be up to you.

TVPulse Magazine called KCD2 “one of the most ambitious and immersive medieval RPGs ever made,” adding, “Warhorse Studios has spent the years since the release of Kingdom Come 1 listening to their fans, improving and perfecting their art, and choosing substance over stylish in-game gimmicks. The result is an uplifting, rewarding, and deeply satisfying experience that shows just what is possible from a dedicated team with a strong vision for what a video game ought to be.”

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 was released for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on 4 February 2025.
