CSI: Vegas, the sequel to CBS’ hit CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, opens a brand-new chapter in Las Vegas, the city where it all began.

Facing an existential threat that could bring down the entire Crime Lab and release thousands of convicted killers back onto the neon-lit streets of Vegas, a brilliant new team of investigators led by Maxine Roby (Paula Newsome) must enlist the help of old friends, Gil Grissom, Sara Sidle, David Hodges, and Jim Brass in the new series.

This combined force will deploy the latest forensic techniques to do what they do best — follow the evidence — in order to preserve and serve justice in Sin City.

The new series stars original CSI: Crime Scene Investigation cast members William Petersen, Jorja Fox, Wallace Langham and Paul Guilfoyle who reprise their roles as Gil Grissom, Sara Sidle, David Hodges and Jim Brass, respectively. The series also stars Paula Newsome as Maxine Roby, Matt Lauria as Joshua Folsom, Mandeep Dhillon as Allie Rajan and Mel Rodriguez as Hugo Ramirez.

In the series premiere “Legacy” an attack on Jim Brass kicks off a twisted conspiracy targeting the Las Vegas crime lab, prompting Sara Sidle to return to investigate with a new team of CSIs.

The “Legacy” series premiere of CSI: Vegas airs Wednesday, Oct. 6 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and is also available streaming on Paramount+.
